Hearts for Her & Them is a faith based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving women and children. Our mission is to empower individuals by providing advice, mentorship, and valuable resources that help them shape their futures.
We understand the complexities of mental health, burnout, and feelings of hopelessness that many face. That’s why we offer support services, community outreach, and a safe space for women and children to connect, heal, and grow.

Meet the Founder
My name is Demara, and if you had asked me as a child what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer would have been simple: a neurosurgeon. However, life had different plans, and growing up in a toxic environment shifted my path. I eventually found my way into freelance makeup, diving into the beauty industry. What I didn’t expect was how this creative outlet would evolve into something much deeper. It became a way for me to experience the joy of seeing other women feel good about themselves — and if you’re in this industry, you know exactly what I mean.
But beauty is only skin-deep, and I’ve come to realize that true fulfillment comes when we look beyond the surface. As a woman and mother of four, I’ve faced the trials of marriage, the complexities of a traumatic childhood, co-dependency, mental health struggles, toxic relationships, and heartbreaking disappointments. These experiences have fueled my passion to create a space for women to dig deeper and support one another.
My vision is to build a network of women who feel empowered, supported, and seen. I want to provide resources for those struggling, and hope for children who weren't dealt life’s best hand. Through the power of God, I hope to lead a community that makes a lasting difference in the lives of those around me.
